Features: To support the legal aid activities for migrant workers and provide practical assistance in protecting their legitimate rights and interests, the Legal Aid Center of the Ministry of Justice conducted extensive discussions on how to safeguard the rights of migrant workers starting in early December 2003. Based on these discussions, it organized the compilation of this series, "Legal Aid Guide for Migrant Workers." The outstanding feature of this series is its accessibility, practicality, and strong operability. Each book adopts a question-and-answer format, clearly and intuitively organizing and addressing the legal and policy issues that migrant workers commonly encounter in their daily work and life, avoiding the confusion caused by overwhelming legal provisions. When readers encounter problems in their lives or work, they can directly look up relevant answers. If they still cannot find the information they need, they can refer to the appended relevant laws, regulations, and rules to find the pertinent regulations. Each book also includes a directory of telephone numbers for local legal aid centers at the prefecture level and labor supervision complaint hotlines, striving to address the urgent needs and concerns of migrant workers. Additionally, the series incorporates recent cases that are valuable for migrant workers in legally protecting their rights and claiming wages, enhancing the series' engagement and readability. The publication of this series is of significant reference value and practical guidance significance for helping migrant workers understand and master relevant legal knowledge for working abroad, strengthening their awareness of using legal means to protect their legitimate rights and interests, as well as for legal aid knowledge training and case handling for migrant workers by various judicial administrative organs and legal aid institutions at all levels.
