Features: Economic applied writing is a branch of applied writing, so in terms of basic principles, it is with general applied writing. For example, in terms of basic writing requirements, it must follow the principles of focused theme, truthful material, standardized structure, and plain language; in terms of the writing process, it must go through stages such as preparing materials, refining ideas, drafting, and revising; in terms of writing training, it has a process from novice to proficient. However, economic applied writing is after all different from general applied writing. Economic applied writing has strong policy implications, is heavily colored with economic interests, requires high professional literacy in economic management from the writing subject, involves numerous documents with distinct phased characteristics, and new document types and cross-genre styles are constantly emerging. Therefore, writing economic applied documents requires not only the writing skills of general articles but also a solid theoretical and policy level, solid professional knowledge in economic management, certain experience in economic management work, and familiarity with various economic management documents. Economic applied documents are important tools for implementing management. From macro-level national economic regulation to micro-level institutional construction in enterprises and units, they are inseparable from the creation and promulgation of economic applied documents. The writing of economic applied documents may seem straightforward but is actually arduous. Those well-written, widely applicable, and highly policy-oriented economic applied documents are all the result of the author's hard work, with many being the crystallization of wisdom. Writing economic applied documents is like dancing at a round table—it requires rich and new content, standardized and proper form, and even more, achieving the expected practical results, which is truly not easy. Therefore, when students study the course of economic applied writing, they must adopt a correct attitude and a solid academic approach, combining theoretical learning with writing training.
