Additionally, it includes over 1,710 illustrations, with nearly 200 precious historical materials such as life photos, autographs, and sketches of the author from different periods. The complete works are organized into volumes by genre, including fiction, prose, biographies, essays, poetry, literary theory, letters, supplementary works, and material cultural history. The selected mirrors in this book are mostly representative works from the Tang and Song dynasties. As for representative mirrors from the Warring States to the Sui dynasty, as well as copies and rubbings of mirrors from the Tang, Song, and Jin dynasties, which hold significant reference value for art and the study of mirror craftsmanship development, a portion has been selected and compiled as appendices. Since the book primarily focuses on Tang and Song-era mirrors, it is titled Tang and Song Bronze Mirrors for publication.
