Features: Preface, which, according to Chinese custom, is often referred to as "answering the question." This book is published in the form of lecture notes, serving as one of the basic teaching materials for Chinese painting majors. With 50 years of experience in studying Chinese painting and 20 years of teaching Chinese painting, the lecture notes from this period have been organized into this book. The primary method of recording oral language is adopted to facilitate the exploration of issues, so the flexibility of language during the lecture process is largely retained. This is also to make it easier for everyone to discuss among themselves, as some forms of language may change in meaning once detached from the linguistic context. While text has relatively stable meanings, it also has limitations. Sometimes you may feel uncertain about something because it has been separated from the original linguistic context. Through this lecture note, the author hopes to provide readers with a clear understanding of Chinese painting. In the ideal process, the author selected several representative lecture notes for recording. After further organization, this book has been formed, and the author hopes that readers will be able to provide valuable feedback during reading and use. Since it is a lecture note, it should be enriched by everyone and evaluated by them. It should indeed undergo the tests of time and history. At the same time, through this book, the author hopes to present his own research work in an accessible manner, so as to contribute to the popularization and teaching of contemporary Chinese painting.
