Features: "Population mobility" refers to the change in people's residential geographical location, which is what demographers commonly refer to as population migration. The population migration that occurred in China after the 1980s saw a large number of people moving from rural areas to cities, from central and western regions to the east. This has drawn widespread attention in terms of both the scale of the population movement and its direction. People value not only the change in the geographical location for work and life but also the changes in social roles and status brought about by population shifts. Tens of thousands of mobile populations have transitioned from farming in rural areas or managing household affairs to working and doing business in cities. Many impoverished families have thus escaped poverty and achieved prosperity, while rural residents long isolated from the outside world have broadened their horizons and gained new insights. The movement of rural populations to urban areas has driven the development of the rural economy, promoted the construction of rural spiritual civilization, and attracted the attention of scholars both domestically and internationally. In recent years, numerous research studies and investigations have been conducted around the theme of population mobility.
