Chopin's Ballades and Impromptus

Features: Regarding the content of this book, it is well-known that the greatest differences among the various versions lie in the selection of pieces. I believe these differences may have originated from Chopin's frequent revisions to the manuscripts during proofreading, as he did not mark the locations of the changes in the manuscripts. Alternatively, they might have occurred during the copying of the manuscripts, possibly due to errors. Additionally, these differences could also be attributed to the variations in Chopin's modifications and improvements when teaching different students. As a result, these differences, disguised as "original sources," have been passed down sequentially from Chopin's students—then to his students' students—to the present day, leaving no authoritative version. This book includes Chopin's Nocturnes and Impromptus, and it is the most complete collection of Chopin's works to date, suitable for professional musicians, pianists, and enthusiasts. Chopin was Poland's greatest composer, a poet with a feminine tenderness and elegance who championed freedom and human rights, and remains the most noble and graceful interpreter of desire and emotion to this day.
