Features: This book comprehensively considers aspects such as themes, genres, and practicality, dividing it into three parts: argumentative essays, practical writing, and chart-based essays. The entire book is divided into 60 units, with each unit consisting of 5 parts: (1) title and prompt requirements; (2) student writing samples; (3) teacher comments; (4) revised essays; (5) vocabulary notes. The student writing samples and revised essays are signed by both students and teachers. Errors in the student writing samples are underlined and numbered, making it convenient for teachers to provide targeted explanations and for readers to understand the content. The book took a full year to develop, from searching for materials to finalizing the structure and completing the writing. The student writing samples were carefully selected from thousands of essays, including regular assignments, unit tests, midterms, and final exams. The selection criteria were not based on the excellence of the essays but on their typical significance and their ability to help others improve their writing. Therefore, each essay is thought-provoking and highly valuable for reference. During the writing process, we revised the manuscript multiple times, striving for perfection to ensure the language was standardized and natural.
