Features: Acupuncture and moxibustion is an important part of traditional Chinese medicine. With China's reform and opening-up, traditional Chinese medicine has begun to spread worldwide, and acupuncture has been the first to be accepted by people in various countries, with an increasing number of learners. Meridians and acupoints are the foundation of acupuncture and moxibustion, and are the key to learning and mastering it. To meet the needs of students in China and abroad to learn acupuncture, enabling them to quickly and accurately master acupoint location, this book has been specially compiled. This atlas follows the "Standard of Meridian Acupoints" of the People's Republic of China and is meticulously written based on the author's many years of teaching experience and clinical practice. It includes 361 meridian acupoints and 48 extraordinary acupoints, as well as clinically commonly used special acupoints on the human body, such as head points, ear points, eye points, hand points, foot points, wrist and ankle points, etc. At the end, there is an acupoint name index and commonly used acupuncture and moxibustion songs, making it easy to find and memorize. This atlas primarily uses physical photographs for acupoint location, with clear and distinct surface landmarks for easy identification. Acupoints are marked on the body along each meridian, with vivid and accurate representations for learning and identification, accompanied by textual explanations including standard location, indications, and acupuncture and moxibustion methods. At the beginning of each meridian, there are specially rewritten acupoint location songs based on standard locations to facilitate learners' memorization. These songs include the national standard code for meridian acupoints, the number of acupoints per meridian, the main diseases treated by each meridian's acupoints, and location songs for each acupoint along the meridian, deepening the understanding, memorization, and recitation of acupoints. This atlas aims to be accurate, concise, practical, and exquisite, making it suitable for students of traditional Chinese medicine colleges, correspondence students, foreign students, clinical acupuncture practitioners, research personnel, and acupuncture enthusiasts for learning and reference. It is a reference book for learning acupuncture and acupoints.
