Features: Due to the widespread popularity of piano learning today and the increasing number of excellent pianists, mediocre piano performances have become unbearable. Therefore, even when playing a medium-level piece in front of non-professional audiences, it requires eight to ten years of hard work. However, very few people are willing to spend so many years learning the piano. As a result, lack of sufficient practice leads to imprecise and inaccurate playing; the left hand struggles to continue when encountering difficulties; the fourth and fifth fingers are almost non-functional—due to insufficient special training, these fingers are often weaker than the others; when faced with octaves, tremolos, or trills, they feel strained and fatigued; consequently, the performance becomes both inaccurate and lacking in expression. Over the years, we have attempted to compile a collection of specialized exercises that can help piano students complete finger technique training in a shorter time, thereby overcoming the aforementioned weaknesses. To achieve this goal, it is sufficient to find solutions to the following problems: If the five fingers of each hand are developed equally, they can play any piano piece, leaving only issues of finger technique, which are easily resolved. We can find solutions in the 60 pieces of "Piano Finger Exercises." In this book, there are exercises that make the fingers flexible, strong, and balanced, as well as exercises that keep the wrist flexible—all of which are indispensable for excellent performance techniques. Additionally, these exercises can make the left hand as flexible and skilled as the right hand. With the exception of a few exercises that are adapted from other materials, all the exercises are self-developed. These exercises are fun and engaging, unlike most five-finger exercises, which tend to bore students. Those tedious five-finger exercises are only for true artists who have the perseverance and courage to play them. These exercises are written in such a way that after watching them a few times, they can be played at a certain speed, making them excellent finger exercises that do not require too much time to study. If interested, all these exercises can be played simultaneously by several students on multiple pianos to inspire their competitive spirit and help them get accustomed to ensemble playing. This book includes various technical difficulties, and the exercises are arranged according to the principle that after the fingers feel tired from the previous exercise, they can recover and rest in the next one. This arrangement ensures that all technical difficulties can be overcome without much effort and fatigue during practice. Through such training, the fingers will experience exceptional fluency during performance. This book is suitable for all piano students. After one year of study, they can achieve significant results. It will no longer make them feel stiffness in their fingers and wrists, allowing them to overcome the main technical challenges. For pianists and teachers who do not have enough time to practice to maintain their performance techniques, spending a few hours playing the exercises in this book can fully restore their finger flexibility.
