It explains how to use Microsoft Internet Explorer and network search engines to obtain various types of information in the vast online world. It also introduces common network tools: email client Foxmail, file compression tool WinRAR, file download tool NetAnts, and LeapFTP.
Chapter 5 introduces computer application software, the internet, and government office automation software.
Chapter 6 covers network security and the methods and technologies needed to address issues in the e-government work environment. It primarily introduces relevant knowledge of network and information security, the characteristics of computer viruses, and prevention methods for several common types of computer viruses.
