Legal Sociology: Disciplinary Analysis and Theoretical Origins: Disciplinary Analysis and Theoretical Origins

Author: Wang Wei
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2004-08-01
Features: This book is divided into two parts, totaling ten chapters.
Part 1: Chapters 1-4 focus on disciplinary analysis. It explores the objects, scope, disciplinary divisions, and collaborative relationships of legal sociology and its related disciplines. As an analysis, it naturally involves attitudes toward certain theoretical viewpoints, which can only be considered one person's perspective. It serves as a foundation for the selection of Part 2.
Part 2: Chapters 5-10 explore the theoretical origins. It attempts some new and concise explorations. Legal sociology emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Therefore, the 20th century is used as a boundary for segmentation and, with most content being brief, including the post-World War II period. Due to the vast historical span and difficulty, the author feels unable to cover everything and only selects a few "highlights" for commentary.
