Features: In the "Sha Yue Lou Bi Tan," the calligraphy of Ming Dynasty scholars is characterized by unrestrained brushwork to capture momentum. Juesi, however, conveys momentum while maintaining restraint, so his works do not reach the extreme of momentum yet appear as if it is endless. Without sufficient strength, it is difficult to achieve this. Wang Zuo's calligraphy possesses a graceful and unrestrained spirit, with bold and dynamic brushwork. Kang Youwei remarked on Wang Zuo: "Understanding Wang Zuo's calligraphy is a key that must be emphasized." The momentum in Wang Zuo's calligraphy is not only reflected in the force, speed, resonance, and direction of the brushstrokes but also in the dynamic changes of the structure. In terms of ink usage, his strong ink bleeding creates a contrast between light and dark, exaggerating the effect. No one before him could have imagined pursuing this ink effect as actively as he did. "Zeng Chang Bao Yi Xing Shu Shi Juan" was created by Wang Zuo at the age of 51 and is one of his mature masterpieces. The brushwork is steady and forceful, with strong, vigorous, and lively strokes, rich and moist, embodying the charm of Hu Jin's calligraphy. It fully demonstrates the artistic style of Wang Zuo's calligraphy.
