Features: Introduction This textbook is compiled in accordance with the spirit of the Ministry of Education's guidelines on the construction of vocational and technical college teaching materials, and meets the training objectives of the Industrial Analysis major and the teaching syllabus for Organic Chemistry. It is suitable for teaching in vocational and technical colleges in the Industrial Analysis major and related fields, as well as for training in related fields and self-study reference for individuals with equivalent academic qualifications. The book consists of 14 chapters and a total of 100 teaching hours. During the writing process, the authors adhere to a competency-based approach, targeting the knowledge, skills, and qualities required by the Industrial Analysis major in vocational and technical colleges for Organic Chemistry. Emphasis is placed on linking theory with practice, ensuring that theoretical knowledge is presented in a "necessary and sufficient" manner to reflect its applied nature. The main content of the textbook includes: At the beginning of each chapter, "Learning Guide" and "Key Terms of the Chapter" are arranged to broaden students' knowledge. "Reading Materials" are inserted within chapters to stimulate learners' interest in the course. The chapter content mainly covers an overview of organic compounds, aliphatic hydrocarbons and cycloalkanes, aromatic hydrocarbons, enantiomers, halogenated hydrocarbons, organic oxygen-containing compounds, organic nitrogen-containing compounds, heteroatom-containing organic compounds, bioorganic compounds, an introduction to spectroscopic knowledge of organic compounds, and separation and purification techniques for organic compounds. Experimental tests for identifying organic compounds are provided at the end of each chapter.
