Preface
"Construction Project Management" is a core course for engineering management majors in higher education institutions and an important course for civil engineering majors. To adapt to the reform and development of China's construction project management system and meet the needs of teaching and practical work, the author, based on years of teaching and practical experience, has compiled the book "Construction Project Management" in accordance with the teaching syllabus for construction project management and the requirements of practical work. The book takes the perspective of project owners and their commissioned units—supervision agencies, following the basic construction program, starting from the conception and planning of construction projects, proceeding through feasibility studies and evaluations, construction implementation (design, construction, and supervision), project acceptance, and finally to post-project evaluations. During the compilation process, the author has always adhered to the principle of combining theory with practice, striving to ensure that the content is comprehensive and substantial, and the methods are innovative and practical.
