Among them, "Zhi Nan" primarily consists of stories reflecting the wisdom of ancient people that Feng Menglong excerpted from various classical texts, divided into ten parts and twenty-eight categories. "Tan Gai" is a collection of extraordinary anecdotes and tales of ancient people, organized into thirty-six categories. "Qing Shi" mainly gathers love stories of ancient people from various tales and notes, which include elements of absurdity and superstition, and is divided into twenty-four categories.
