Features: Qin Shusheng, male, born in 1963, is an associate professor and director of the Department of Social Sciences at Shenyang University of Science and Technology (formerly Shenyang Institute of Technology). He graduated from the Physics Department of Shenyang Normal University in July 1986 with a Bachelor's degree in Science. In September 1993, he enrolled in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology to pursue a master's degree in the philosophy of science and technology, earning a Master's degree in Philosophy. In 1996, he was assigned to the Department of Social Sciences at Shenyang Institute of Technology, where he primarily taught the Principles of Marxist Philosophy and Dialectics of Nature. In 2001, he enrolled in the School of Arts and Law at Northeastern University, studying for a doctoral degree in the philosophy of science and technology under Professor Chen Fan. He obtained his Ph.D. in Philosophy in 2003. His main research areas are the philosophy of systems science and the philosophy of technology. He has published over forty articles, served as co-editor or associate editor, and contributed to the compilation of textbooks in various journals and collections such as Research on the Dialectics of Nature, Philosophical Dynamics, Science, Technology, and Dialectics, Science and Technology in Science and Management, Journal of Systems and Dialectics, China Science and Technology Forum, and Science and Technology Progress and Policy. He has led and completed more than ten research projects under the Scientific Research Plan of the Education Department of Liaoning Province, the Scientific Research Plan of the Science and Technology Department of Liaoning Province, and the Teaching Research Plan of Shenyang Institute of Technology.
Abstract: Comrade Qin Shusheng has conducted in-depth research on the philosophical issues of systems science for many years and has acquired the necessary knowledge. On this basis, he has studied the complex view of technology. This work is a summary of his long-term reflections. The book focuses on an in-depth exploration of the view of technology in the complex era, studying technological issues from the perspectives of complexity and self-organization, demonstrating innovation in research perspective.
