Features: The main body (overview section) of this book is arranged according to the four fields mentioned above, divided into five chapters: Chapter 1 is the introduction, providing a general overview of the research field and methodology; Chapter 2 describes the entire process of language acquisition from crying to creatively using language as a child, revealing the inherent nature of language; Chapter 3 describes the four stages required for language production: conceptual formation, speech combination, articulation, and self-control; Chapter 4 discusses phenomena such as slips of the tongue, which provide insights into the understanding of language production. However, this complex process is largely unconscious. Through experimental methods, people have conducted more objective research on phonetics, vocabulary, sentence structure, and discourse comprehension, concluding that language comprehension is significantly influenced by contextual factors; Chapter 5 introduces the observation and study of aphasia patients, which not only helps understand the relationship between certain brain regions and language but also reveals that the impact of brain damage in children on language ability varies greatly depending on the location of the injury.
