Features: The Encyclopedia of Comparative International Law is a renowned legal masterpiece comprising 17 volumes, each with a varying number of sub-chapters, published in the 1970s. This book serves as the National Reports for each volume of the Encyclopedia of Comparative International Law, with 17 sub-chapters. The contributors include prominent figures in national or international legal academia, judges, professors, and experts, all of whom wrote in English. The book provides concise historical overviews and legal summaries of 178 countries. Although the authors wrote in English, it was sometimes unavoidable to use the original language and terminology of each country. As a result, the text includes specialized terms from the respective countries spelled in English, some with English annotations and others without. In some cases, we have added translated notes, while in others, we had to transliterate the terms or include the original text, relying on the context to infer their true meaning.
