Features: This book is written with the aim of serving short-term logistics training for enterprises and institutions and self-study of logistics knowledge for a broad range of management personnel. It has the following characteristics:
1. The format of this book does not use chapters but adopts a popular Q&A style. Among the 100 questions listed in the book, 1-14 explain the basic concepts of logistics and logistics systems; 15-65 explain the seven basic functions of logistics and related knowledge; 66-100 cover modern logistics knowledge.
2. The focus of this book is on introducing the basic and new concepts, principles, and theories in logistics knowledge. It addresses the contradiction between readers' awareness or lack thereof of the basic elements in logistics.
3. The book is concise in length, with language designed to be simple yet profound, aiming to enhance its readability and usability in training.
4. To strengthen the rigor of the book, all content involving concepts and definitions is supported by direct references and annotations to the corresponding explanations from the official National Standard "Logistics Terminology" (GB/T 18354-2001). For items not listed in the "Logistics Terminology," authoritative works are used to provide explanations as much as possible.
5. This book is a popular read on logistics knowledge. Although its content is based on the introduction of basic logistics concepts, it is not a reference book for explaining logistics terminology. The book does not include explanations for a large number of logistics terms, especially for general terms such as "warehouse," "forklift," "packaging box," and "logistics base."
