Features: To comprehensively and systematically reflect the distribution, current status, and control strategies of locust areas in China, and to provide a basis for future locust research, monitoring, and control work, the authors spent over five years collecting, analyzing, and organizing research data from more than a decade, referencing relevant literature, and compiling the book "The Occurrence and Control of the East Asian Locust in China." This book summarizes the achievements of locust disaster control in China over the past 50 years and showcases recent research findings. Particularly noteworthy is the systematic discussion of the distribution, ecological conditions, occurrence dynamics, and control techniques of the East Asian locust locust areas in China during the 1990s, as well as the inclusion of distribution maps of locust areas in nine provinces (municipalities) and 151 counties (cities, districts). This is the first time such comprehensive work has been conducted within China.
