Features: The Hardship of Repaying a Debt is Xi Xuan's latest recently completed novel. The Hardship of Repaying a Debt is a novel where, after writing a series of ancient-themed works, Xi Xuan returns to modern stories. The author uniquely chooses the life of white-collar women as the main content of this book. Zhou Corporation spent a fortune recruiting a top-tier secretary, and such super secretaries are usually chosen by older generations as future spouses for their businesses. They possess highly advanced management skills and experience. The arrival of the super secretary indeed brought significant progress to Zhou Corporation. However, she did not come to be a corporate wife. She only came to repay a debt—to repay the kindness she received in her difficult childhood, which allowed her to survive. Repaying a debt should be an easy thing, but the process of the super secretary's repayment is not smooth at all. This is the story of repayment that Xi Xuan wants to share with everyone. When writing each new book, Xi Xuan pays attention not to repeat herself. This The Hardship of Repaying a Debt is no exception, as she chooses a new level of characters. The story revolves around traditional morals, as there is an old Chinese saying: "A drop of water received should be repaid with a gushing spring." In this book, Xi Xuan applies this to the white-collar class in modern enterprises, not only making it feel natural but also making it deeply relatable. This is the new light that the brilliance of traditional Chinese morals casts in modern society.
