As a result, his interpretation of transcends the boundaries of knowledge and academia: his classroom is a place of solace between lives, a dialogue between souls, and a collision of ideas. This book is the transcript of Qian Liqun's "Last Lecture" before leaving the Peking University lecture platform. Qian Liqun attempts to place back in the historical scene and era, conducting a close reading of his life's footsteps, intellectual trajectory, and literary works. The faint echo of Qian Liqun's aged and hoarse voice, lingering between these pages and words, connects the no longer mythical to the young students in the classroom under the endless spring sunlight.
