Features: This textbook is compiled in accordance with the basic principles of planning teaching materials for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in general higher education, as well as the spirit of promoting the development and reform of TCM education. Gynecology of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a core clinical course for TCM majors, with the teaching objective of enabling students to master, familiarize themselves with, and understand the physiological, pathological characteristics of women, as well as the differential diagnosis and treatment of common gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, leukorrhea, pregnancy, postpartum complications, and miscellaneous diseases. The content of this textbook highlights advancement, scientific rigor, systematic organization, standardization, and practicality, aiming to cultivate students' thinking methods and practical skills, thereby fostering applied talents for TCM undergraduate programs. The textbook consists of 7 chapters in the general part, explaining the fundamental principles of TCM gynecology. The specific part comprises 7 chapters, covering the differential diagnosis and treatment of common gynecological diseases. According to historical records and practical needs, an additional chapter on "Labor and Delivery" is included to bridge the gap between pregnancy and postpartum diseases. The former "genital diseases" under "miscellaneous gynecological diseases" are separated into a standalone chapter due to their unique anatomical and physiological characteristics. For each specific disease, an "Diagnosis and Differential Diagnosis" section is added to meet the requirements of dual (TCM and Western medicine) diagnosis in clinical medical records. At the end of the book, basic knowledge of gynecology and obstetrics, as well as family planning, is provided to accommodate the needs of clinical practice. This textbook is intended for use by TCM undergraduate students and can also serve as a reference for teaching at other educational levels.
