This book includes commonly used Western prescription drugs and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulations, as well as some newly introduced clinical drugs. Western prescription drugs are classified by disease systems, while TCM formulations are categorized by their functions and indications. The book comprises 26 categories of Western drugs with 905 species and 24 categories of TCM formulations with 451 species. Each drug entry includes: drug name (Chinese commercial name, English commercial name), dosage forms and specifications, usage and dosage, pharmacology and indications, adverse reactions, and precautions.
With the continuous development of pharmaceutical science, drug dosage forms and specifications may change during their shelf life, and new discoveries may emerge regarding their efficacy, indications, adverse reactions, and drug interactions. Readers are advised to closely monitor changes in drug dosage forms and specifications, stay updated on new research developments, and summarize clinical usage experiences to use medications more rationally, safely, and effectively, serving human health.
