Features: The difficulty of understanding the world lies in grasping the trends of its changes. The mindset of successful individuals lies in always capturing the pulse of societal changes, promptly reviewing and adjusting their thought trajectories, ensuring that all operations and action plans remain under dynamic control. The thousands of years of human civilization tell us that before every physical action of intelligent life, there is an intellectual action. Intellectual actions permeate the thinking process of humans, i.e., mindset; physical actions are the manifestation of mindset. The former is linked to the behavior of human society in transforming the subjective world, while the latter is connected to the behavior of human society in transforming the objective world. As a category of behavior in transforming the subjective world, mindset is reflected in worldview and methodology. The former represents human capacity, level, and results in understanding the world, while the latter represents the path and means by which humans transform the world. Looking at the favorites of successful endeavors, their successful mindset has the following characteristics:
First, dynamism. The mindset of successful individuals follows the principle of "human affairs are changeable, and the world is changeable." They always capture the pulse of societal changes, promptly reviewing and adjusting their thought trajectories to keep all operations and action plans under dynamic control. In the eyes of successful individuals, any qualitative conclusion can only apply to the "present tense" in terms of time, and development and change are the eternal truths.
Second, diversity. Successful individuals believe that the diversity of the world leads to the stability of society and the continuity of human civilization. Therefore, any correct decision should be based on a value system grounded in diversity. Value is the soul of decision-making. Only through the diversity of values can decision-making achieve stability and scientificity. A value system with diversity makes target management in decision-making a multi-objective management system. The inconsistency of target interests creates a mutually balancing relationship between goals. The decision-making process must weigh multiple objectives in the multi-objective system and make choices based on the decision-maker's personal preferences. Such choices, for a specific goal, can only be a "satisfactory" decision, not an "optimal" one. For example, macroeconomic regulation decisions must weigh goals such as economic growth, price stability, full employment, and balance of international payments.
Third, foresight. The difficulty of understanding the world lies in grasping its changing trends. Being a pioneer is the fundamental experience behind the rapid rise of the economy in southern China because only by being a pioneer can one achieve first-mover benefits. Economic benefits are primarily reflected in three aspects: first-mover benefits, differential benefits, and scale benefits. First-mover benefits occur in the time dimension, differential benefits in the spatial dimension, and scale benefits are the means to achieve the former two. The key to being a pioneer lies in "first," and to achieve this, two conditions must be met:
1. The wisdom to be a pioneer, which is implied in the belief in changes, the keenness to perceive changes, and the persistence in pursuing changes.
2. The courage to be a pioneer. History has shown that those who dare to be pioneers almost always pay a heavy price for the benefits of being first. This is because the philosophy of being a pioneer often clashes with the traditional concepts of mainstream society, and the actions of being a pioneer are often rejected by the traditional institutions of mainstream society. Therefore, once the mindset of being a pioneer is formed, to achieve the benefits of being first, one must also dare to defy conventions and initiate the "craving for the first crab" process. Without such and courage, the market economy model would never have emerged on Chinese soil, nor would the shareholding economy form have been created.
