Features: "The Dream of the Red Chamber" features a quote from Miaoyu: "The book of Zhuangzi is excellent." The Zhuangzi can be read as philosophy, science (Nobel laureate, Japanese Hideki Yukawa derived the "Meson Theory" from Zhuangzi), prose, and of course, as a novel. This book reads Zhuangzi in the form of a novel. As a novel, it inevitably involves fiction and embellishment, but it is certainly not just making things up. I dare not say that every word in this book comes from a reliable source, but I dare say that most of it stays true to the spirit of Zhuangzi. The Ministry of Education has included Zhuangzi in the "New Curriculum Standards" for middle school students, which is great. I hope this "novelized Zhuangzi" can help students read Zhuangzi a little bit—of course, I hope it's not a hindrance.
