Features: The construction of overpasses in Beijing has greatly facilitated people's lives, alleviated traffic congestion, and played a positive role in the development of the national economy. However, due to various factors such as the surrounding environment, geographical location, historical and cultural heritage, and requirements for expressways, the types of bridges have become increasingly diverse, some of which are complex and unique. This has led to situations where people may take the wrong route or cause congestion on the bridges. To address this, 70 relatively complex overpasses have been carefully selected and organized, with detailed markings and explanations of driving routes and precautions, making it a helpful guide for drivers on the road. During the editing process, the book fully embodies the principle of people-centeredness, improving the previous shortcomings of having many directions marked chaotically on a single bridge map. It focuses on the driver's location as the axis, starting from the north, south, east, and west directions, and provides markings for straight driving, right turns, left turns, and U-turns, serving as a reliable "guide" for drivers. The book clearly marks various traffic signs and landmark buildings near or on the bridges, providing an immersive real-life experience and serving as a "sentinel" to help drivers avoid traffic violations. The book comprehensively introduces the import and export points, pedestrian overpasses, and gas stations along the main roads of Beijing's Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Ring Roads, presenting them all in a clear and concise manner on a single map, making it a valuable "advisor" for drivers planning their routes. The book also includes common phone numbers related to vehicles and schematic diagrams of bus transfer points for some overpasses, providing convenience in daily life and serving as a "secretary" for drivers. The book will be reprinted annually to reflect the ever-changing dynamics of Beijing, adding or correcting bridges that have been newly constructed, renovated, or have had their routes altered in the previous year. All marked routes in the book are one-way, without return direction signs. The traffic routes and tips reflected in the book are valid until May 20, 2004. If changes occur in traffic routes or signs thereafter, they should be based on the local conditions at the time. Due to the limited expertise of the authors, the book may have shortcomings, and we sincerely welcome criticism and corrections from readers.
