Its essence lies in using wisdom to "bring into play subjective initiative, consciously master the situation of struggle, and seize the initiative to achieve the expectation and purpose of defeating the enemy and winning." Whether strategy is brilliant and successful depends on whether one thinks diligently and skillfully; it depends on whether one's thinking methods are scientific, i.e., whether one can apply materialist dialectics to analyze problems. Throughout history, both in China and abroad, many philosophers, sages, and strategic masters have applied the art of strategy exceptionally well, even reaching a transcendent level, and have achieved glorious success, thereby demonstrating and developing human intelligence. It can be said that strategy is the flower of human wisdom. This is a precious cultural heritage.
