- Volume 3 includes: asarum, Stephania tetrandra, Clematis chinensis, Tephrosia purpurea, geranium, Cassia obtusifolia, Tribulus terrestris, Dendrobium candidum, jujube, gentiana, gentian, Polygonum, Trichosanthes kirilowii, radix and rhizoma of Atractylodes macrocephala, Atractylodes rhizoma, Carthamus tinctorius, Coptis chinensis, Lindera aggregata, Polygonum.
- Volume 4 includes: Cistanche deserticola, equisetum, mulberry bark, stone vine, Mantis religiosa, polygala, toad venom, Ephedra sinica, donkey-hide glue, xanthium, polyporus, western river willow, tortoise shell, dogwood.
- Volume 5 includes: asarum, silver root, hawthorn, root of daylily, gardenia, geranium, cowherb, Clematis chinensis, Polygonum multiflorum, equisetum, Vicia villosa, Leonurus cardiaca, Alpinia chinensis, Hirudo.
- Volume 6 includes: euphorbia, Dipsacus asper, deer antler, perilla, plantain, belamcanda chinensis, root of Imperata cylindrica, climbing fern, seagrass, rose myrtle, Ephedra sinica, Asparagus cochinchinensis, Commelina communis, white peony root, Strychnos nux-vomica, Lindera aggregata.
Each category of medicine includes: pharmacological research, literature review, drug source and commodity investigation, identification of original plant (animal), characteristics and tissue structure of medicinal materials, physicochemical identification, chemical composition, content determination, harvesting and processing, pharmacological experiments, conclusions and recommendations.
