Features: The National English Level Test (NELT) is a comprehensive English proficiency examination system designed and administered by the National Education Examination Administration Center (NEEA). It is a nationally authoritative examination system with international standards. By assessing candidates' proficiency, it issues nationally recognized English proficiency certificates, which serve as a basis for personnel assessment and recruitment by human resources departments. This meets the societal demand for English proficiency evaluation and talent employment. The NELT is structured into five levels plus an additional level, and it will gradually replace existing English examinations such as the junior high school entrance exam (), vocational and technical school foreign language proficiency tests (), higher vocational school foreign language proficiency tests (), senior high school graduation exams (), self-study exams, adult college entrance exams, and government-funded overseas study language proficiency tests. Additionally, it guides the direction of English exam questions for the college entrance exam () and postgraduate entrance exams.
