Features: The Chinese Property Law is currently under drafting. The essence of Property Law lies in resolving the connection between people and property, addressing the so-called ownership relationship between property and people, thereby establishing the basic property order of society and providing prerequisites for property utilization, including property transactions. Among all natural resources, the most important one is undoubtedly land. Therefore, the design of land rights is naturally a highly focused issue in the drafting of the Chinese Property Law. However, we have found that there is a vast blue "land" that is almost forgotten by us, rich in resources, invaluable, yet largely overlooked. This land is called the "marine area."
