Features: In the 15th year of the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty (641 AD), Princess Wencheng was married to the Tubo Kingdom. The long route laid the foundation for the later Tang-Tubo Ancient Road, gradually forming a path of friendly relations between Tang and Tubo. Today, the role of the Tang-Tubo Ancient Road has been replaced by modern transportation, but the ancient relics left along the route, the colorful folk customs and culture, as well as the rich and varied landscapes have become objects of pursuit for travelers.
