Features: Publishing a book about sketching portraits has been a long-standing dream of mine. It is also a summary and review of my more than ten years of artistic practice, as well as a showcase of my teaching work. I believe it is necessary to publish this book because, although there are many books on this topic in the market, few are suitable for students learning portrait sketching. Some lack clear theoretical explanations, while others have too few or unsuitable sample drawings. The publication of this book addresses these shortcomings. In terms of theoretical explanations, the content of this book progresses from simple to complex, reflecting my years of painting experience. In terms of sample drawings, the book features a combination of long-term and short-term assignments, various techniques, materials, and styles, making it a relatively comprehensive textbook for systematically learning portrait sketching.
