Author Bio: Shinichi Hoshino was born in Tokyo in 1926 and graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at Tokyo University. In 1957, he co-founded Japan's first science fiction magazine "Cosmic Dust." He later gained fame for his unique ultra-short stories. In 1968, he won the Mystery Writers of Japan Award for his novel Delusion Bank. Over his lifetime, he created over a thousand novels and passed away in 1997.
