Features: The heart is located in the mediastinum of the thoracic cavity, above the diaphragm, and is enclosed by the pericardium. Approximately 2/3 of it is on the left side of the thorax, 1/3 on the right, and it is slightly twisted to the left. Therefore, the right half of the heart is more anterior, while the left half is more posterior. This book includes 15 chapters on the anatomy and physiology of the heart, along with over 140 typical electrocardiogram (ECG) graphs and more than 30 tables. Particularly in the final chapter, it lists the normal ECG data for children of various ages in China, providing valuable reference materials for pediatric clinical, teaching, and research professionals. The appendix contains commonly used values in ECG. In the differential diagnosis section, tabular comparisons are used, especially a rapid ECG interpretation method is compiled, which will greatly assist grassroots medical personnel in quickly and accurately making ECG diagnostic conclusions and clinical applications. It is also convenient for newly practicing clinical interns (doctors/technicians) to carry and refer to at any time.
