Features: According to the requirements of Document No. 250 of the State Planning Commission (Ji Zong [1986]), the "Code for Low Voltage Design" was revised jointly by the former Ministry of Mechanical and Electronic Industry and relevant departments. It has been reviewed by relevant authorities and is now approved as a mandatory national standard, "Code for Low Voltage Design" GB50054-95, effective from June 1, 1996. The original national standard, "Code for Low Voltage Design" GBJ54-83, is hereby abolished.
