Features: The "Comprehensive Training Series for Art Classrooms" is written by frontline experts based on the teaching syllabi of sketching, color, and design from professional art colleges. It is characterized by being systematic, scientific, rigorous, standardized, and practical. As is well known, the primary task of art education is to cultivate students' awareness and ability in shaping. This awareness and ability must be achieved through training in the language of painting and shaping. The language of painting and shaping is also known as the formal elements and composition of painting, and the focus of painting training is precisely the meaning and expressive techniques presented by this form. When people observe objects or represent them on the canvas, the moral issue to be addressed is the accurate response and processing of visual information—the points, lines, planes, colors, and their combinations that exist within the artwork. Therefore, it is particularly important to abstract the formal elements and composition of painting and understand and train them. Based on the above principles, this series of books is compiled according to the characteristics and requirements of students of different ages and levels from various types of art schools, starting from the basic theories and techniques of art. The purpose is to train students in the correct methods of observing and representing objects, thereby gradually improving their painting skills. The basic framework of the series includes textual explanations of fundamental theories, illustrated analyses and steps of techniques, and critiques of outstanding works. Simple, convenient, practical, and highly targeted, it is an ideal reference series for teaching materials.
