Features: This book categorizes and organizes the authentic works and rubbings of Cai Xiang, Su Shi, Huang Tingjian, and Mi Fu from the Song Dynasty. The arrangement of the main text follows the principles of the Kangxi Dictionary, with the order of characters and entries being based on Cai Xiang's regular script, running script, and cursive script, followed by Su Shi's, Huang Tingjian's, and Mi Fu's in the same sequence. Most of the characters are reduced in size at the same ratio, and for particularly large characters, an appropriate increase in reduction ratio was made for layout considerations. The rubbings were inverted to black and white. To preserve the original charm of the authentic characters, no modifications were made in principle. However, for the sake of readability, minor repairs were made to the stains and damaged parts around the characters. For the convenience of readers, a chronological table of the four masters and a general painting index are appended at the end. To ensure the completeness of the selected characters, 30,000 words were rigorously selected from over 80,000, with each character marked with its source.
