Happy Little Readers is a children's English reader series originally published by Tsinghua University Press, imported and reprinted from the U.S. by. Its predecessor, ReadyReaders, consists of 8 levels, created by U.S. early childhood education experts specifically for children's English learning. This series is designed with children's age characteristics in mind, aligning with their cognitive development, focusing on the development of multiple intelligences, reflecting their emotional world, and inspiring imagination. Based on the content and language features of the illustrations, we have integrated this series, publishing the first four levels, which primarily focus on words and repetitive simple sentences, as the Smart Dog Story Park series, targeting preschoolers and lower elementary students. Happy Little Readers, as an English supplementary reader for elementary students, features repetitive simple sentences in the first level, gradually increasing in complexity in subsequent levels. The language transitions from reflecting children's spoken language to reflecting written language, and the content and topics become progressively richer as children grow older.
