2. The printed characters are presented in black-and-white inversion.
3. The characters are reduced in size at the same ratio. The reduction rate is 17%.
4. The sorting principle follows Wang Xizhi's small regular script — Collected Characters Stele — Orchid Pavilion Preface — Ink Rubbing — Seventeen Treatises — Calligraphy Collection — Wang Xianzhi and Contemporary Ink Rubbings — Calligraphy Collection — Zhiyuan's Running Script Thousand Characters — Sun Guoting's Shupu.
5. Appropriate corrections have been made to the stains on the original pieces and the damaged parts around the text.
6. For the convenience of readers, a general index of illustrations is attached at the beginning.
7. The selection of characters follows the principle of prioritizing the best. From over 100,000 characters, 20,000 have been strictly screened, with each character marked with its source.
