Love magazine

Author: Zhang Xiaoxian
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2004-04-01
Features: The publication of this book was completely unexpected. Last November, my novel ChannelA (I) That Year's Dreams was published, and a website named after the novel also went live. An online "story competition" was held, allowing readers to freely develop characters and plots from the novel and continue the story. Many enthusiastic participants with impressive skills surprised us, leading to a new idea: publishing ChannelA Love Magazine, so that online authors could see their works transformed into text and dance with the characters in my books. In February of this year, ChannelA (II) Butterfly Expired Residence was also published, and the online game continues. The internet has infinite possibilities, and life is full of unknowns. I hope this dance will go on forever. Good things are often unexpected. When writing the ChannelA series, I wanted to make it more realistic. However, readers who read the book said the story was too sad, making them cry a lot. How was it for me while writing? Writers are probably mad—creating stories and characters, yet becoming immersed, moved, smiling, and crying for them, as if everything were real.
Book Content: "Zhang Zhi'an? I'm Luo Manli. Do you remember me?" Zhang Zhi'an didn't know what kind of romantic luck he had recently—ex-girlfriends kept turning up one after another. Last month, Fan Mei, who had broken up with him five years ago, suddenly appeared, and now it was his first love, Luo Manli, calling him out of the blue. Women suddenly seeking out old lovers usually have only two reasons. She wants to sleep with him, taking revenge on the man who treated her badly now. Or, she's now very happy and wants to show off to him. "Manli, long time no see, how are you?" Zhang Zhi'an said. "What have you been busy with?" "Mating." Zhang Zhi'an replied. "Mating?" Luo Manli on the other end of the phone was taken aback. "It's not me mating—I'm helping birds mate." Zhang Zhi'an was in his workshop, helping a pair of night herons mate. He is a government ornithologist responsible for bird management and breeding.
