Features: In 1942, at the Beijing Qianmen Railway Station, Guo Yan, a weighmaster and Communist Party member, skillfully concealed superiors under the leadership of the Party's Jin-Chao-Ji Railway Work Committee. Tian Zhanyi: In 1956, he apprenticed under the renowned crosstalk artist Wang Shichen to learn crosstalk performance. In 1978, he joined the Chinese Railway Literature and Art Troupe's storytelling troupe as a professional storytelling artist, also apprenticing under the famous storytelling artist Yuan Kuocai. Since 1982, he has collaborated with Shen Yongnian and others to create numerous long-form storytelling works, including "Secret Train," "Hu Men Xiao Yan," "Lin Xiangqian," "Republic of China Chronicles," "Palace Anecdotes," "Great Wall Treasure Hunt," "Li Zicheng," "Top Secret Mission," and "New Interpretations of Ancient Books—Comprehensive Mirror to the Times." For Tian Zhanyi's achievements in storytelling about modern history, experts such as Wang Jingshou, Wang Jue, and Zeng Huijie wrote in the book "Eastern Cultural Integration" and "Discussions on Chinese Storytelling Art" in the section "Commentaries on Famous Artists," stating: "Tian Zhanyi is one of the most accomplished storytellers of modern history in recent years."
