Features: In the past decade, cultural exchanges between China and the world have become increasingly frequent. The cultural and education authorities have adopted various channels to promote academic exchanges by inviting experts to visit and sending scholars abroad. This has opened the doors of China's once musical halls, providing enthusiasts with opportunities to learn about international counterparts, absorb foreign cultures, master new techniques, and utilize new teaching materials and repertoire. As a result, the field in China has experienced a second leap forward, with its development progressing at an extremely rapid pace. To date, the programs in China's music conservatories and universities have become increasingly comprehensive, and of all kinds have emerged across the country, creating a spectacular scene. These include bands from universities, industrial and mining enterprises, military and government agencies, rural areas, and primary and secondary schools. Various forms of exchanges and competitions have been held, and associations have been established in some provinces and cities. The vibrant development of activities has prompted us to reflect on the long-term practice of education. Currently, the teaching materials and exercises we use are mostly passed down through generations, relying on hand-copying and photocopying. In some smaller cities without art schools or qualified teachers, it is even difficult to find proper teaching materials, which is highly unfavorable to the popularization, development, and improvement of in China. Therefore, we have organized experts and professors to compile and annotate a series of exercise collections.
