Features: China is a developing agricultural country, and the development of rural areas is crucial to the process of modernization. The progress of China's legal system also depends on the pace of rural legal development. Unfortunately, research on rural law is still quite insufficient. Perhaps because some of us grew up in rural areas or worked as intellectuals in the countryside, driven by our affection for the countryside and our firsthand understanding, we always want to say something and do something for the countryside from our professional perspectives. This is the original intention behind writing this small collection. The book is divided into two parts. The first part is mainly based on questionnaire data to analyze the legal awareness of four main groups: household heads, village and team cadres, factory directors of village and team enterprises, and workers, including legal knowledge and its acquisition methods, subjective attitudes and evaluations toward the law, legislative demands, and views on the role of the law in resolving rural disputes, among others, and provides a general explanation. The second part discusses several important legal issues in rural areas at the current time, involving rural legal issues. The appendix of this book includes 22 interview records on rural legal issues from eight counties (cities) in Hubei Province, the original questionnaire on farmers' legal awareness, and the main data processed by computer from the questionnaire responses.
