It greatly benefits readers in improving their oral expression skills. This book was compiled by the author based on nearly four decades of German teaching experience, combining common difficulties faced by Chinese learners in learning German with references to various German grammar books published abroad. Since its publication in 1982 under the title German Grammar, it has been printed twice and has been well-received by readers both domestically and internationally. Recently, the author has made comprehensive revisions and additions based on changes in the current situation, making it more practical. The book provides detailed discussions on passive voice, modal verbs, onomatopoeia, subjunctive mood, articles, prepositions, as well as concessive and comparative clauses. It also briefly introduces some trends in modern German. Most of the examples in the book are taken from German literary classics and political essays.
