Features: Analog electronic technology is regaining attention, which will represent the technical trends for the coming period. Analog circuits are based on amplifiers and include continuous wave signal generators, power supply voltage regulators, etc. This book introduces signal generators, specifically oscillator circuits. The book is divided into 7 chapters. Chapter 1 briefly introduces the basic principles of oscillation and common types of oscillators, while subsequent chapters collect and introduce a large number of oscillator circuit examples, including audio oscillators, RF oscillators, multivibrators, function generators, clock pulse generation, and pulse shaping and transformation circuits. Some of the collected examples also use digital integrated circuits or digital-analog hybrid integrated circuits. In practical circuit design, circuit knowledge should be flexibly applied based on objectives and requirements, with practicality as the guiding principle. To facilitate readers in building and testing circuits according to the diagrams, each circuit example is accompanied by an explanation of its working principle or a brief description of its main features. All illustrations in the book are computer-drawn. At the end of the book, the main reference materials used in writing it are provided.
