Features: With the reform of China's economic system and the development of the market economy, housing has emerged as a commodity before the people, stirring excitement, dreams, and constant longing. Yet, many realities, like buckets of cold water, bring us back to earth. We must recognize that the construction of commercial housing and its related markets, as well as the corresponding legal systems, are still in the preparatory stage, and the government's regulatory efforts are very limited. The public's choices are essentially either to wait for the market's improvement and arm themselves with knowledge, or to avoid buying a home and steer clear of this complex and perilous market. However, the desire for a happy life drives us to leap into action. Cities, as spaces for human living and habitation, have largely lost their function, no longer serving as a paradise for the healthy development of humans, nature, and society. "Urban diseases" such as deteriorating living conditions, environmental pollution, and cold interpersonal relationships are spreading everywhere. We have a responsibility to call on people to stop the construction-related "ills" such as decoration disease, air conditioning disease, respiratory disease, and office building syndrome, which are frequent in construction activities.
