Features: For a long time, Information System Engineering (ISE) has been a high-risk field, where many projects fail to be completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality. The root cause of this issue is closely linked to the structural flaws between the project owners and contractors in the ISE field. To address this, the Ministry of Information Industry introduced the ISE Supervision System, utilizing third-party supervision agencies to mitigate these structural defects, reduce risks in ISE, and ensure the quality of ISE projects. Since its introduction, the ISE Supervision System has undergone extensive practical exploration and research within the engineering community, as well as active summarization and study by government authorities and academia. However, the overall perception is that theory lags behind practice. As a result, ISE supervision often remains somewhat ambiguous in actual engineering practice. This underscores the urgency and profound significance of summarizing the knowledge required for ISE supervision and constructing a knowledge system for it. ISE supervision is a novel yet promising field. In this domain, previous work and related disciplines have accumulated valuable knowledge. This book systematizes and structures this knowledge, representing the culmination of the author's efforts in this direction. It is a summary of the author's theoretical research, engineering practice, and participation in drafting national standards, surveys, and training activities. The ISE Supervision Knowledge System consists of five dimensions of knowledge space: ISE Supervision Object, ISE Supervision Goal, ISE Supervision Methodology, ISE Supervision Content, and ISE Supervision Implementation. This book provides detailed analysis of these dimensions. In addition to systematization and structuring, the book's features also include: close alignment with the characteristics of ISE, a complete supervision methodology, process-level supervision depth, numerous referenceable and customizable "experience summaries," and supervision tools with the manuscript. This book is designed for those who wish to gain a comprehensive, thorough, and in-depth understanding of the ISE supervision knowledge system, including informationization supervisors from ISE construction units and ISE supervision engineers.
