Features: The scope of material raw materials is very extensive, and the variety is extremely diverse. Broadly speaking, they can be divided into two major categories: metal materials and non-metallic materials. Common varieties of material raw materials mainly include metal materials, wood, cement and its products, chemical products, rubber products, plastic products, mechanical and electrical products, fuel, and so on. The aforementioned material raw materials have been widely used in economic construction, and their supply and storage management have become increasingly important. Material storage and management is a highly technical task. Personnel engaged in material storage and management must possess certain technical knowledge of material raw material preservation to ensure that materials are stored and managed reasonably before use, thereby better meeting the needs of economic construction. For this purpose, based on years of teaching and practical work experience, we have reviewed a large number of and latest material product quality standards to compile this "Brief and Practical Handbook of Material Management." This book primarily introduces the basic knowledge of material storage management and the basic requirements and practices for the receipt, handling, stacking, maintenance, and issuance of common material raw materials (including metal materials, wood, cement, chemical products, rubber products, plastic products, mechanical and electrical products, fuel, etc.). It also covers the varieties, specifications, grades, properties, and uses of some materials. The content is concise and to the point, with strong practicality. It is suitable for logistics professionals, warehouse managers, material procurement and supply personnel, technical workers, and relevant engineering technicians to refer to during their work. It can also serve as a practical reference book for students and faculty of relevant schools and majors.
