Features: As a soldier, what could be more heart-wrenching and regrettable than driving a car and accidentally killing your own platoon leader? Moreover, the platoon leader you killed later became Lei Feng, who shook China. Today, many people are no longer unfamiliar with the name Qiao Anshan. However, few know how, in the 35 years after accidentally killing Lei Feng, Qiao Anshan bore the heavy cross and silently endured life, quietly striving to be a good person like Lei Feng. This book presents, for the first time, the difficult journey of Qiao Anshan's survival through decades of inner torment: he first returned to the "Lei Feng Company" to take over the platoon leader's steering wheel, continuing as an ordinary soldier, then followed the team to the civilian sector, became an ordinary worker, married a rural girl, and lived a quiet life. Throughout his long life journey, no matter how far he traveled or what environment he lived in, he never forgot to be a person like the platoon leader and never forgot to visit Lei Feng's tomb regularly to report and pour out his heart. When people finally recognized him from the movie Days Without Lei Feng, the sand of time had already polished the youthful "Little Qiao" into the weathered "Old Qiao." This is a work meticulously crafted by scriptwriter Wang Xingdong and writer Chen Baoguang after extensively interviewing Lei Feng's comrades, based on the true nature of life. It objectively depicts the entire process of Lei Feng's sacrifice, genuinely traces the attention and praise he received from the generations of leaders of the Party and the country, and offers a profound reflection on the current social atmosphere in China. What moves people deeply is how the work delves into Qiao Anshan's inner world, presenting his lifelong sorrow, distress, and joy before us, with the power to move people to tears and shake their hearts.
